About Us

Established in 1794, Village of Marathon is committed to providing our townsfolk with the essential services they need. From maintaining public parks and spaces to handling essential services such as water, sewer, and electricity to our inhabitants. Our cozy village is home to approximately 1000 residents and hosts several wonderful events and programs throughout the year, such as our Maple Festival.

Come visit our town and attend our famous Maple Festival. During this event, we celebrate the rich maple industry in Marathon, New York. From our wonderful Maple Pageant to the exciting pancake eating contest, there are a lot of family-friendly activities to enjoy during the festival.

In our town, we have an elementary & high school which are dedicated to shaping the children to become the trailblazers of the future. They strive to help the kids find and develop their passions and to prepare them for life in the real world.
